What we never do
Come Have A Chat never accesses your microphone, never records you, and never listens to you. What you say out loud during a session is never captured in any form. We show no ads, use no advertising trackers, and never sell or share your information with anyone.
What gets saved when you practise
The app saves a record of each practice session so you can see your history: the prompt you were shown, the timer length, whether you finished, any ratings you gave yourself, any note you chose to write, which challenge you took on, and the date and time. What you actually said is not part of that record — it was never captured.
These records are stored on your own device, and also synced to a secure database so your history isn't lost if you clear your browser or switch devices. This works even without an account, via an anonymous identity — no name or email involved.
If you add an email
Creating an account is optional. If you do, we store your email address and, if you choose to share it, your first name. Your email is used only to send you sign-in links and codes, and emails you explicitly ask for (like a group session's feedback document). No marketing, no newsletters.
Usage information
We record basic anonymous usage events — for example, that a session started or ended and which settings it used — to understand how the app is used and make it better. These events don't include anything you say or write.
Services we rely on
Your data is stored with Supabase (secure database and sign-in). Emails you request are delivered by Resend. That's the full list.
Removing your data
Email hello@comehaveachat.com and we'll delete your account and practice history.
Questions about any of this: hello@comehaveachat.com.
